I started on the net around early Jan. 2004 at geocities with my own doll collection. after awhile it turned out to be boring and not having any visitors at all. went to sign up for 012webpages for my own personal homepage. one of the websites that inspired me was Gran Gran and Lisa. but she still has her old sites somewhere on the net. they truly inspired me since their websites were very family friendly and had this calm effect towards visitors. I finally downloaded Paintshop pro 7, I fell in love with that program and began creating graphics. at first I thought my work wasn’t bad at all not until I saw the works of a few graphic artists on the net, it totally blew me away. each day I grew inspired and thanks to Jaana’s pixel tutorial I finally learned how to pixel the easy way. I opened my personal/pixel site around May 2004 but never made my own layouts, I always browsed around looking for cute linkware layouts. from there I met a few friends thru blogging especially when I started to blog at bravenet around June 9. 2004.

I began pixelling and applied for hosting at http://cuddle-bug.net and thanks toTracy for she was such a very wonderful host she never lets go of me ever, my site wouldn’t be possible without her. my pixel/blog site opened around april 22, 2005 I am so thankful to Jays for introducing me to cutenews as my first blogging tool. she was my very first online sister to help me with my blog. she was very nice and I really love her style, and she loves cute things, too. since we both adored cute stuff as well as pink I never missed any of her entries ever which came to the point one day she made a contest and picks the first top 2 commentators, I was really proud coz I came in 1st and she sent me a package thru the mail, with guess what? Charmmy Kitty stuff! she was such a doll.

It was a wonderful fruitful year. I met a lot of wonderful friends thru blogging (you all know who you are) and thru pixelling, the ones who gave me inspiration were Jays, Anneke, Annezca and Yajaira (2004). they became all my best online sisters and I really cherish all that until now.

One day an online sister gave me the best gift ever, Valerie (she also became one of my inspirations) to my surprise gave me the domain pixelkitty.us since pixelkitty was the name of my site when I started back in 2005, I opened up my new site on april 4, 2006 . she was such a blessing. I started making wordpress themes since I just love designing layouts for blogs, I adore wordpress very much and did not think twice on going back to cutenews ever. my site’s server crashed around and lost everything that I had. gladly I had back up. all my visitors content were still in my hardrive, thank goodness. I decided to tell Valerie that I won’t be renewing pixelkitty anymore to avoid anymore hassle. so a few months later I began blogging again but this time thru blogspot where I keep my digital scraps since June 2006. I think settling down to a free site is not bad. I’m a busy mom and surfin’ the net and making free stuff is only one of my hobbies. soooo, now you know how I started on the net. if you’re a newbie you might like to check out my faqs page or my resources page. that’ll give you ample information on how to start your very own website.
